About

For 90 years, St. Joseph’s Indian School has partnered with Native American children and their families to educate for life—mind, body, heart and spirit. Over 200 Lakota (Sioux) children attend St. Joseph’s Indian School every year. St. Joseph’s Indian School is a residential school serving Native American families who face unemployment, lack of transportation, food insecurity and more – all intensified by the geography and weather in our area. We work to bring services to them and meet their needs where they are – geographically, physically and spiritually.
