Fischer Simmentals began as a 4-H project in 1997 since then we have continued to expand. We are located just outside of Scotland, SD. We currently have 190 head of purebred Simmental cattle. We are local, family owned and operated farm with our herdsman, Nicholas Fischer. We strive to produce cattle with excellent growth numbers and maternal traits. We are continually improving our herd through the use of AI breeding and embryo transplants to provide cattle with better carcass traits to meet the needs of our customers. We currently sell cattle by private treaty and we usually attend the state Simmental shows and sales (Sioux Empire Farm Show and Black Hills Stock Show).
